I don’t agree with the following comment and I will explain why.
A person wrote on her blog: “1. Matthew suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia , killed by a sword wound
2. Mark died in Alexandria , Egypt , after being dragged by horses through the streets until he was dead. (..)”
My reply: The above is what Christian tradition teaches.
However,
Ribi Yehoshua (Aramaic: Yeshua) – the Mashiach [Messiah] [0] – of Nazareth was called a Ribi – a title similar to ‘Rabbi’ – even by his opponents. That title implies that Ribi Yehoshua had semikhah – rabbinic ordination. Only Pharisees had this rabbinic ordination. This implies that Ribi Yehoshua was a Pharisee. Read further documentation on this link .
He never lost this good standing and his followers the Netzarim were also in good standing in the Pharisaic Jewish community [Documentation].
This logically implies that all of their teachings were in accordance with Torah.
And that they must have taught this: “So this is what the Mashiakh – Messiah – must have taught about ‘salvation’:
As stipulated in Devarim ["Deuteronomy"] 6:4-9,11:13-21 one is required to keep all of the directives of Torâh′ to one’s utmost—viz., “with all one’s heart, psyche and might [lit. "very"]“—”for the purpose of extending your days and the days of your children… like the days of the heavens above the earth” (i.e., eternal life). According to the Tan’’kh -Yekhezeqeil ["Ezekiel"] chapter 18 et.al – the Creator confer His atonement in His loving kindness to those and only those turning away from their Torah-transgressions and (re)turning to non-selectively Torah-observance including mishpat.”
Since NT contradicts Torah, they can impossibly have taught the NT. The authors of NT is also the authors of what happened to the “apostles”.
However, historical documentation (see link above) proves that the followers of Ribi Y’hoshua stuck with Torah all of their lifetimes. This logically implies that Christian tradition is wrong and unreliable.
I recommend you all to do your utmost to follow the teachings of Rabbi Y’hoshua and he taught Torah. This will lead you into an immensely meaningful relationship with the Creator.
All the best,
Anders Branderud
Only if those words are completely in accordance with the Torah, can those words be a guidance of how to relate to the Creator.
And even if the historical words of Rabbi Yeshua were in accordance with the Torah they could have been redacted.
Lets compare the ‘gospels’ with the Tana’’ch:As stipulated in Devarim ["Deuteronomy"] 6:4-9,11:13-21 one is required to keep all of the directives of Torâh′ to one’s utmost—viz., “with all one’s heart, psyche and might [lit. "very"]“—”for the purpose of extending your days and the days of your children… like the days of the heavens above the earth” (i.e., eternal life). According to the Tan’’kh -Yekhezeqeil ["Ezekiel"] chapter 18 et.al – the Creator confer His atonement in His loving kindness to those turning away from their Torah-transgressions and (re)turning to non-selectively Torah-observance including mishpat.
Thus, his words have been redacted. His words were redacted by Hellenists. [Documentation: Link]
Following the historical man, the Messiah called Yehoshua, requires according to the Jewish Bible, to follow the Torah – the Instruction manual of the Creator; and this leads oneself into an immensely meaningful relationship with the Creator – blessed is He.
If you want to follow the Creator, then the following website contains essential information: www.netzarim.co.il
Will the Messiah come in the first century? Will he keep Torah? Will he teach Torah? Will his followers teach and keep Torah? Were his followers the Christians or the Netzarim – Nazarenes? Are the arguments of Shmuley Boteach and Michael Brown valid? Jewish salvation compared to Christian salvation.
Some links referred to in the video; and some links proving the claims made in the video:
Rabbi Yeshua – the Messiah – came in the first century; and it is important to know whom he was prophesied to be.
The name Immanuel doesn’t imply divinity. The prophecy was also about king Hizkiah and he wasn’t divine. Learn and read Isaiah 7-9 in Hebrew according to etymology. Ya’aqov wrested with a malakh – a messenger – namely his brother. Neither does the word Elohim used in the Tan’’ach imply trinity. If you want to follow Rabbi Yeshua the Messiah, then please note that acc. To Isaiah 9:6 in Hebrew, the followers of Messiah will keep mishpat-i.e. they will keep Torah.
Here is one of the prophecies in the Tana’’ch about the Mashiach: “In those days and at that season I will implant a Tzëmakh of tzedâqâhforDâwid, and he shall make mishpâtand tzedâqâh in hâ-Âretz” (Yirmeyâhu[”Jeremiah”] 33.15).
The Mashiach – the Messiah – will make mishpat [note 1].
What must Rabbi Yehoshua [Aramaic Yeshua] have taught about ‘salvation’ if he was the Mashiach?
Yeshayâhu[’Isaiah’] 1.17-18: ‘Wash up, clear yourself.… Learn [what is] good, seekmishpât.… Prithee come, let us reprove,’ says HaSheim, ‘If your kheit are like scarlet they shall be whitened like snow.’”
According to the Tan’’kh -Yekhezeqeil ["Ezekiel"] chapter 18 et.al – the Creator confer His atonement in His loving kindness to those turning away from their Torah-transgressions and (re)turning to non-selectively Torah-observance including mishpat.
Rabbi Yeshua – the Messiah – was killed by the Romans. It was the Hellenist Sadducees that handed him over to the Romans, not the Torah-observant Jews. Rabbi Yeshua was called a Ribi, which implies he was a Pharisaic Rabbi.
It is well documented that Ribi Yehoshua was a Pharisee: The historical Ribi called Yehoshua – the Messiah – was a Pharisee and his followers the Netzarim kept Torah
The Messiah of the Torah is prophesied to be a human. Study Isaiah chapter 7 – 9 in Hebrew according to etymology and you will find out. King Hizkiah was a forerunner and he was not an incarnate man-god. Read further documentation on my other blog called Follow Yeshua: www.followyeshua.com
A person wrote about the NT: ”What part (..) I asked is not based on the Torah”
According to the Hebrew Bible – including Torah -the Creator will forgive in His loving kindness only those whom to their best to keep the directives of Torah non-selectively. This according to Isaiah 1:16-18, Ezekiel 18, Deuteornomy 29:15-20 and many more verses in Hebrew. The Jewish first century Messiah Rabbi Yehoshua taught in accordance with this [1].
The Creator changes not – Malachi 3:6. Thus, His requirements of mankind changes not.
